Why Patagonia Arisca?

If you looked up the word Arisca and found that it means surly, unfriendly, and rude, you might be a little confused. Not to worry, for in Patagonia, it means Untamed, Wild, Free, Unbroken. It's the name given for a feral or untamed horse, the Patagonian mustang.

We see Patagonia through the same lens. It's one of the few places in the world where many areas are still untouched, undiscovered, where nature flourishes without distortion. Our main purpose is to be the bridge between your world and the natural world, letting you reconnect with your roots in its natural environment.

The only true way to really appreciate and understand our natural world is to experience it in it’s purest form. Join us as we take you on unforgettable excursions to explore and experience Patagonia in all it’s glory.

Giving back

Patagonia Arisca will serve as a sole provider to our future sister foundation that will be dedicated to studying, conserving and educating, for the betterment of the region. Tourism is a powerful tool, if used well. We work mainly with local people creating not only jobs but also creating a community of active participants. As Patagonia is made up of largely private land, ecologically its one of the most understudied places; and there is clear evidence that it is one of the most interesting places to explore and investigate.

Here are the various aspects we would like to accomplish.

01.

Mitigating human-wildlife conflict through scientific education and knowledge sharing.

02.

Learning and documenting traditional knowledge and empowering locals with tools to maintain, conserve and protect their lands.

03.

Carry out scientific surveys to understand, the landscape and prepare for the future.

04.

Volunteer and student programs to not only educate and conserve this landscape but also to create citizen-scientists.
